Role Overview
Affirm is seeking a Senior Director of Brand to lead the next evolution of how the brand shows up in culture, communications, and product experiences.
This is a highly strategic and creative leadership role for a builder—someone who transforms brand from a static identity into a dynamic system that drives ideas, storytelling, and measurable business impact. You will lead the Brand & Creative team and unify design, writing, and brand storytelling under a cohesive and future-forward vision.
Key Responsibilities
🎯 Brand Evolution & Creative Leadership
- Transform Affirm’s brand into a living, adaptive system across campaigns and product experiences
- Lead and inspire a multidisciplinary Brand & Creative team
- Elevate the team from in-house studio to cultural and creative leader
🤝 Cross-Functional Integration
- Build strong connective alignment across Brand, Communications, Product Marketing, and Partner Marketing
- Ensure consistency and coherence across every customer touchpoint
- Shape how Affirm appears in key cultural and business moments
🚀 Creative Strategy & Execution
- Develop bold, culturally relevant creative work that builds trust and brand distinction
- Establish frameworks and rituals that enable fast, meaningful execution
- Integrate measurement and next-generation tools to enhance creative performance
What We’re Looking For
Experience
- 15+ years leading brand transformations at scale (in-house or agency)
- Proven success managing multidisciplinary teams across design and copy
- Experience driving culturally relevant and commercially impactful brand work
Skills & Mindset
- Builder mindset—innovates new brand-building models
- Deep understanding of the intersection between brand, culture, communications, and business
- Strong creative instincts and executive-level communication skills
- Passion for Affirm’s mission and belief in transparent credit

Compensation
Base Salary (U.S.):
- $285,000 – $355,000 (CA, WA, NY, NJ, CT)
- $253,000 – $323,000 (all other states)
Equity: Eligible for equity awards
