About the Marketing Team
OpenZeppelin’s Marketing Team is responsible for driving awareness and adoption across the company’s products and services, including its flagship open-source libraries, developer tooling, and solutions designed for financial institutions. The team works closely with Product, Design, Sales, Developer Relations, and Engineering to shape messaging, go-to-market strategy, content, and events that position OpenZeppelin as the standard for blockchain development.
Role Overview
OpenZeppelin is seeking a Content Marketer to own the creation, coordination, and distribution of content across marketing channels. This role focuses on managing content calendars, producing high-quality written materials, and ensuring consistent messaging across platforms such as social media, blogs, and the website. The position combines strategic planning with hands-on content execution and plays a central role in content operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain content calendars across channels including X (Twitter), LinkedIn, blogs, and the company website
- Write and edit a wide range of content, including blog posts, social media updates, website copy, case studies, and marketing materials
- Adapt and distribute content across multiple platforms while maintaining a consistent brand voice
- Develop and launch new content initiatives such as newsletters, video scripts, and additional formats to drive engagement
- Collaborate with Product, Developer Relations, and technical teams to translate complex blockchain and security concepts into accessible content
- Track content performance metrics and optimize content based on insights and results
- Ensure all published content meets quality standards, brand guidelines, and messaging frameworks
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in content marketing, preferably in B2B technology, blockchain, or developer-focused environments
- Strong writing skills with a portfolio demonstrating experience across multiple formats
- Proven ability to manage content calendars, meet deadlines, and handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Solid understanding of blockchain technology and smart contracts, with the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly
- Strong attention to detail and editing skills
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of SEO best practices and content optimization
- Experience with content management systems and marketing automation tools
- Skills in additional content formats such as video, design, or multimedia
- Familiarity with enterprise or financial institution marketing
- Experience building and growing newsletter programs
Interview Process
The interview process is conducted via Zoom and typically includes:
