Role Overview
Railway is seeking a Product Marketer to lead storytelling, positioning, and brand narrative for its developer-focused platform.
This role is highly autonomous and strategic, offering broad ownership over how Railway is perceived across the developer ecosystem—from individual builders to enterprise decision-makers. The Product Marketer will be responsible for ensuring Railway is top of mind for developers who want to build impactful systems without infrastructure friction.
This is a high-visibility role with direct influence on brand, growth, and product adoption.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and evolve Railway’s product positioning across developer and enterprise audiences
- Craft clear, compelling narratives that communicate product value and long-term vision
- Own product messaging across marketing channels, documentation, and campaigns
- Translate complex infrastructure concepts into accessible, engaging stories
- Partner closely with engineering and product teams to align launches and messaging
- Lead go-to-market campaigns that drive awareness, adoption, and growth
- Represent the voice of the user and ensure marketing reflects real developer needs
Required Qualifications
- Strong understanding of product positioning and branding across consumer and enterprise markets
- Deep familiarity with developer tools and the infrastructure ecosystem
- Interest in computing infrastructure and cloud platforms
- Excellent technical writing and communication skills
- Proven ability to pitch, refine, and clearly communicate product vision
- Experience working remotely in highly autonomous environments

Preferred Experience
- Experience across the full marketing stack, including growth, performance marketing, and traditional communications
- Proven success driving top-of-funnel and inbound growth
- Strong experience building, analyzing, and optimizing growth funnels
- Expertise in A/B testing, segmentation, and campaign iteration
- Ability to write with the voice of the user while aligning with engineering teams
- Experience positioning products for enterprise buyers and large-scale purchasing decisions
