Role Overview
AmeriBen is seeking an Account Service Manager to provide advanced customer service, strategic planning, and account management support for large client accounts. This role is primarily virtual, offering flexibility and autonomy, with required in-person training sessions to support onboarding and professional development.
Candidates must reside within a reasonable commuting distance of the posting location unless a legally required accommodation applies.
Work Arrangement

- Occasional in-person training, meetings, and account visits required
- Travel to client worksites or other locations may be necessary
Key Responsibilities
The Account Service Manager will:
- Provide strategic planning and ongoing account management for large client accounts
- Manage and oversee contractual requirements and service obligations
- Lead new account onboarding and renewal implementation processes
- Partner with internal operations teams to ensure smooth and effective service delivery
- Maintain strong client relationships across multiple organizational levels
- Identify and recommend service improvements to meet and exceed client expectations
- Deliver both on-site and off-site customer service support, including:
- Interpreting plan design
- Researching and resolving phone and written inquiries
- Resolving claims, benefit, and enrollment issues
- Coordinate open enrollment meetings, renewal activities, and training sessions
- Conduct routine account visits as needed
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in business operations management and/or customer relationship management
- Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Experience working in a third-party administrator (TPA) environment
- Background in insurance or employee benefits administration
- Account management experience
- Willingness and ability to travel as required
Compensation
For candidates working remotely or in person in Colorado, California, Nevada, or Washington, the salary range for this position is:
$69,972 – $119,952 USD
Compensation is based on geographic location, experience, education, skills, and business needs. Salary ranges may be modified over time. Compensation is not considered earned until vested and paid in accordance with company policies.
