Graduate Programme Overview
Xapo Bank is offering a 12-month Graduate Programme designed for individuals at the beginning of their professional careers who are eager to grow within the Fintech, Banking, and Blockchain sectors.
Participants will gain hands-on experience, exposure to real-world business challenges, and the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals in a fully remote, international environment. Upon successful completion of the programme, graduates may be considered for a full-time position, subject to performance and business needs.
Position Overview
The FP&A Graduate role sits within Xapo’s Finance team and offers practical exposure to financial planning, forecasting, and analysis. This position is well-suited for candidates with a strong academic foundation in finance-related disciplines, an interest in data-driven decision-making, and curiosity about the crypto and financial services space.
The role provides structured learning, mentorship, and the opportunity to contribute to strategic financial insights in a fast-paced, global organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual budgets and forecasts
- Assist with financial data analysis to identify trends and support business decisions
- Help prepare regular financial reports, including variance and performance analysis
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of financial models and forecasting tools
- Support the preparation of presentations for senior management and stakeholders
- Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as required
- Assist with business case preparation for new initiatives and investments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to collect and validate financial data
- Support the tracking and monitoring of key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
- Contribute to continuous improvement of FP&A processes and workflows
Required Skills and Attributes
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to learn how to interpret financial data
- Problem-solving attitude with a willingness to learn and take initiative
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
- High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
- Basic understanding of financial reporting and accounting concepts
- Strong interest in fintech, banking, and the crypto industry
- Good communication skills and the ability to present information clearly
Preferred (Nice to Have)
- Familiarity with data visualization or BI tools (e.g., Looker, Power BI) through academic work
- Basic knowledge of SQL or database querying from coursework or projects
Education & Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- No prior professional experience required
- Relevant internships or academic projects are considered an advantage
