Role Overview
The Account Service Manager is responsible for providing advanced customer service, strategic planning, and account management support for large client accounts. This role serves as a key liaison between clients and internal operations teams to ensure contractual requirements are met and services are delivered efficiently.
The position is primarily virtual, with required in-person training sessions. Candidates must reside within a reasonable commuting distance of the designated posting locations unless a legally required accommodation applies.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic planning and ongoing account management support for large client accounts
- Direct and manage the administration of contractual requirements and service obligations
- Oversee new account implementations and renewal processes
- Collaborate with internal operations teams to ensure smooth and accurate service delivery
- Maintain strong relationships with client stakeholders at multiple organizational levels
- Identify opportunities for service improvements and recommend solutions to meet client expectations
- Deliver on-site and off-site customer support, including plan interpretation and issue resolution
- Research and resolve inquiries related to claims, benefits, enrollment, and eligibility
- Coordinate open enrollment meetings, renewal discussions, and client training sessions
- Conduct routine account visits as required
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum of 3 years of experience managing business operations and/or customer relationships
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a third-party administrator (TPA) environment
- Background in insurance or healthcare administration
- Account management experience
- Ability and willingness to travel to client worksites and other locations as needed
Compensation
For candidates working virtually or in person in the following states:
Colorado, California, Nevada, Washington
Estimated Salary Range: $69,972 – $119,952 annually
Compensation is based on factors such as geographic location, experience, education, skill level, and business needs. Actual pay may vary within or outside the listed range.
