A fast-growing, fully remote cybersecurity company is seeking a Reseller Sales Specialist to help scale its channel presence across North America.
This is a front-line, hunter-style role focused on recruiting, onboarding, and activating new reseller partners that transact through distribution. You will own the early lifecycle of partner relationships—from first outreach through initial revenue—working closely with distributors, marketing, and the broader channel team to drive rapid partner productivity.

Key Responsibilities
Partner Recruitment & Activation
- Identify, recruit, and onboard new reseller partners (VARs, IT service providers, MSPs) across the United States
- Qualify prospective partners efficiently and reduce time-to-first-deal
- Build a strong pipeline of net-new, first-time partners
- Own the first 90–180 days of the partner lifecycle, ensuring successful activation
Distribution-Led Growth
- Work closely with distribution partners to co-sell, co-market, and accelerate partner-sourced pipeline
- Ensure partners understand how to quote, buy, and transact effectively through distribution
- Deliver foundational enablement on product value, positioning, and use cases
Partner Enablement & Performance
- Provide partners with tools, resources, and ongoing training to support sales success
- Track partner performance, identify gaps, and deliver coaching to improve results
- Manage opportunity registration processes to ensure accurate attribution and margin alignment
- Identify expansion-ready partners and transition them to long-term channel ownership
Market Engagement & Feedback
- Represent the company at industry events, partner days, and channel conferences
- Collect and share real-time feedback from resellers and distributors with internal teams
Required Qualifications
- 2–5+ years of experience in channel sales, partner development, or distribution-led roles
- Proven success in partner recruitment or high-velocity sales environments
- Experience working with US distribution (technology, security, SaaS, or Microsoft ecosystems preferred)
- Strong understanding of the cybersecurity market, particularly SMB and commercial segments
- Familiarity with Microsoft licensing and security solutions is highly preferred
- Confident communicator able to quickly build trust with reseller decision-makers
- Comfortable managing a large geographic territory in a fully remote role
- Willingness to travel as needed
