Position Overview
A global software development company behind Bolt.new and StackBlitz is seeking a Customer Experience Engineer (Community) to serve as a public-facing technical advocate and direct support resource for its user community. This role blends technical troubleshooting, community engagement, and customer advocacy, with a strong emphasis on social interaction and real-time user support.
The position works closely with Product and Engineering teams to surface insights, resolve issues, and strengthen relationships with developers using the platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a public-facing expert and brand ambassador across social and community platforms
- Engage with users in real time on platforms such as Twitter/X, Reddit, Discord, LinkedIn, and similar channels
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues through email and occasional video calls
- Provide clear, empathetic guidance to help users resolve challenges and adopt new features
- Create and maintain self-service resources, including documentation, guides, tips, and community posts
- Identify trends, sentiment, and recurring feedback within the community and translate insights into actionable input for Product and Engineering teams
- Collaborate cross-functionally to identify emerging issues early and advocate for user needs
- Foster positive, constructive, and on-brand interactions across all customer touchpoints
Qualifications
- Comfort representing a technology brand publicly in community and social settings
- Experience troubleshooting modern front-end technologies such as Vite, React, Tailwind, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
- Familiarity with databases, API integrations, and Chrome DevTools
- Understanding of large language models (LLMs) and experience crafting effective prompts
- Ability to translate technical concepts into clear, user-friendly explanations
- Strong problem-solving skills with a customer-first mindset
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills
- Preference for candidates located in the United States or European Union to support time zone collaboration
