Position Overview
Sticker Mule is seeking a Software Engineer to help build and scale its rapidly growing commerce platform. This role focuses on developing the company’s Stores platform and its supporting ecosystem of tools that enable sellers to succeed online.
As part of a fully remote, globally distributed team, you’ll work on high-impact features across backend, frontend, and infrastructure systems while contributing to a fast-moving product roadmap. Key Responsibilities
Product & Platform Development
- Design, build, and maintain features for Sticker Mule’s Stores commerce platform
- Contribute to related tools including giveaway, shipping, and marketing systems
- Deliver reliable, scalable solutions across backend services and client applications
- Collaborate closely with teammates to execute an ambitious product roadmap quickly
Engineering & Infrastructure
- Develop and maintain services using Go and TypeScript
- Build client experiences with React Native (Expo)
- Design and consume GraphQL APIs
- Work with PostgreSQL and Redis for data storage and caching
- Containerize and deploy services using Docker and Kubernetes on Google Cloud Platform
Collaboration & Communication
- Communicate clearly and effectively in a fully remote environment
- Participate in design discussions and technical decision-making
- Occasionally travel to the company’s factory in Italy for in-person collaboration
Required Qualifications
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Go
- Strong experience with TypeScript
- Experience with React Native (Expo)
- Experience working with GraphQL APIs
- Solid understanding of PostgreSQL and Redis
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform
Professional Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to work independently in a remote, distributed team
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
Availability
- Willingness to travel to Italy a few times per year
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $145,000 USD
- Signing Bonus: $20,000 USD
- 4 weeks of vacation plus local holidays based on country of residence
