Position Overview
RE/MAX Holdings, Inc. is seeking a Communication Specialist to support internal, external, and editorial communications across its organizations, including RE/MAX, LLC and RE/MAX Holdings. This role assists with the coordination, writing, execution, and delivery of communications projects for a variety of company audiences.
The Communication Specialist reports to the Senior Manager, Communications and works closely with internal stakeholders, executives, and media partners to support brand storytelling and visibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development and execution of communications materials, including brand journalism articles, press releases, award submissions, and company storytelling initiatives
- Drive storytelling for the global RE/MAX network, with a focus on the U.S. and Canadian markets
- Maintain awareness of real estate market trends to pitch story ideas and support media strategy
- Conduct interviews, research topics, and write/edit content for brand journalism platforms and third-party publications
- Build and maintain media lists and develop relationships with trade, local, and national media outlets
- Compile and distribute daily media clip reports, weekly communications reports, and other reporting as needed
- Manage award submissions and identify speaking and visibility opportunities for company executives and network members
- Assist with editorial calendars, pitching schedules, and analytics tracking
- Support content strategy and execution for CEO social media channels
- Collaborate with editorial and public relations teams to ensure consistent and effective storytelling
- Ensure messaging accuracy, brand integrity, and editorial quality across external-facing communications
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field
- Submission of 2–3 writing samples is required
- Exceptional writing, proofreading, editing, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining creativity and attention to detail
- Knowledge of SEO best practices
- Strong respect for deadlines and timelines
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Compensation
- Base Salary Range: $52,000 – $60,000 annually
- Actual compensation may vary based on experience, skills, education, certifications, industry knowledge, and geographic location
- Additional compensation may include bonus eligibility
