Role Overview
A leading revenue intelligence and AI software company is expanding its Sales Engineering team and is seeking experienced Sales Engineers to support customers in the Financial Services sector (banking, insurance, and wealth management).
This role sits within the company’s Industry Expansion team and focuses on partnering with Sales and Customer Success to guide prospects and customers through complex workflows and AI-driven go-to-market strategies. The Sales Engineer will serve as a trusted technical and business advisor, helping organizations understand, adopt, and maximize value from a modern revenue AI platform.
Positions are hybrid-based, with candidates currently sought in Chicago, New York City, and Salt Lake City.

Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary technical advisor and product expert alongside Sales and Customer Success teams
- Deliver compelling product demonstrations tailored to complex financial services use cases
- Advise prospects and customers on how the platform supports strategic business outcomes, including value quantification
- Support proof-of-concepts (POCs), pilots, and technical evaluations
- Design and deliver outcome-based demos and solution architecture diagrams
- Translate complex technical and business requirements into clear, simple explanations
- Assist with RFPs, security questionnaires, and technical documentation during sales cycles
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Success, Support, Product, and Engineering to drive deal success
- Partner with Marketing on webinars, events, and industry conferences
- Create reusable content and assets for the Sales Engineering organization
Required Qualifications
- Customer-facing experience in a Sales Engineering or pre-sales role (or related experience such as Sales Enablement or Operations)
- Experience selling into Financial Services organizations (banking, insurance, or wealth management preferred)
- Familiarity with sales technology platforms such as CRMs, cloud systems, or telephony/web conferencing tools
- Strong understanding of SaaS security and privacy concepts
- Knowledge of GTM sales workflows, including forecasting and prospecting
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong collaboration and stakeholder management abilities
- Ability to explain complex concepts in a clear, approachable manner
Preferred Experience
- Exposure to AI/ML concepts, analytics, APIs, webhooks, JSON, or data flows
- Experience supporting Healthcare or Manufacturing customers (in addition to Financial Services)
Compensation & Benefits
- Target On-Target Earnings (OTE): $130,500 – $220,000, depending on experience and location
